ORBIS International Aircraft Conversion Project

Mobile Aerospace Engineering was the successful bidder on an aircraft conversion for ORBIS International.

ORBIS is a non-profit humanitarian organization working to save the sight of thousands of people in developing countries. ORBIS provides a flying eye surgery hospital, fully staffed and ready to perform necessary surgeries, training for doctors and nurses in local communities and public health education. 	Project ORBIS-DC10 was a planned upgrade to an older, outdated aircraft so the Organization could continue their mission well into the 21st century.
arDesignWorx was contracted to coordinate, furnish and install all interior finishes - floorcoverings, wallcoverings, privacy curtains, furniture upholsteries, etc.
	Our materials were all delivered ahead of schedule and under budget. We are very proud of the small part we played in this erstwhile humanitarian effort.
